We’re looking to add a number of physical and digital products to our marketplace. 

Yes, you can simply offer a digital gift card download to be able to redeem at your location.

There’s two sectors;

  1. Perishable food products
  2. Physical non-food products

1. We take care of all the perishable food products from our warehouse.

2. Non perishable physical products are the vendors responsibility

 

To market your products on our marketplace, there’s no upfront cost to list your items. We charge a 35% commission on your sales, which covers the cost of maintaining the marketplace and processing payments. If you’d like to have your products featured in our advertising, that service is available separately and is not included in the commission fee.

You can easily manage your products through our user-friendly dashboard. From there, you can upload new items, update product details, and monitor your inventory. It’s your responsibility to keep your inventory levels accurate on the dashboard to ensure smooth operations. For non-perishable products, you handle the fulfillment directly. However, if you’re selling food items, you’ll need to deliver them to our warehouse on a weekly basis to make sure we have enough stock to fulfill orders.

We pay via paypal or we can make arrangements to e-transfer your payment. You can request a payout anytime once you’ve reached a minimum of $100 in your account.

Yes, you essentially have your own store within our marketplace and can set your own terms of service for returns and refunds as well as shipping costs for non food items.

We also handle customer service and payment processing, allowing you to focus on what you do best—creating great products. If you’re selling food products on our marketplace, you’ll have to have a par level stock on hand at our warehouse. Other than that, there are no upfront costs to our platform.

 

To qualify to be on the Local Crate marketplace, your products must meet our standards for quality and local sourcing. We prioritize vendors who offer unique, high-quality items that align with our commitment to supporting local producers. Additionally, you should have a reliable production process and be able to meet the demand for your products. We also require that all food vendors comply with local health and safety regulations. Once you meet these criteria, you can apply to join our marketplace, and our team will review your application to ensure it’s a good fit.

There’s no contract and no commitment to start selling products on our site.
